Description

On behalf of Mainka Bau, we are constructing a state-of-the-art Venlo greenhouse of 1,613 m² for Bayer Crop Science on the R&D campus in Monheim, Germany. This greenhouse is part of Bayer’s largest investment in crop protection in Germany since the Monheim site was established in 1979. The focus here lies on regenerative agriculture, innovation, and safety for people and the environment.

We are delivering and assembling a fully equipped greenhouse, featuring integrated technologies, built to the highest quality standards and tailored to the specific needs of advanced research in crop protection.

 

Technical specifications:

  • Type: Venlo greenhouse

  • Dimensions: 36.00 m wide × 46.40 m long; total surface area 1,613 m²

  • Roof: Diffused tempered glass (4 mm), sandwich panels (60 mm)

Equipment:

  •  Bird protection mesh

  •  Mobile benching systems for flexible use

  •  Horizontal and vertical screening systems

  •  Complete electrical installation and lighting

  •  Automated climate control and heating

  •  Water and irrigation systems
