Sludge drying houses

Globally, Hedafor builds sludge drying houses for sludge treatment.

Drying sludge in a Venlo sludge drying house reduces the moisture content to a maximum. The disposal of sludge is therefore reduced to a minimum, resulting in a decrease in transport and processing costs. The size of such a Venlo greenhouse currently varies between 300 m² and 25,000 m² in floor area. We have already implemented this type of system in Germany, the US and Ecuador.
